Job description

Job Title: Senior Digital Analyst

Work Model: Hybrid, Framingham MA

This Senior Digital Analyst will be responsible for driving insights and recommendations related to the end-to-end purchasing customer journey for Staples B2C and B2B digital strategy across both Web and App platforms. This role requires an excellent collaborator, communicator, and analyst with extensive hands-on data experience. The successful candidate is a problem solver in a fast-moving and highly diverse environment and will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timeliness are not compromised. In addition to strong analytical skills, the Analyst must be adept at communicating findings to senior leadership and business stakeholders across the organization in both verbal and presentation formats.

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with Product Management and Digital Experience partners to provide insights and recommendations to improve the end-to-end purchase customer journey, inclusive of the Web and App experiences.
  • Be the subject matter expert on A/B testing and other experiment methods, providing consultative support and ensuring campaigns are set up to deliver accurate data collection and robust impact measurement. 
  • Build self-service reporting so Analytics and stakeholders have full visibility into how customers are engaging with the site experiences teams own, and are able to identify opportunities for improving the customer experience.
  • Use your keen analytical skills and business acumen to help solve complex problems, communicate insights, and advance our reporting capabilities.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • We are looking for a collaborative, intellectually curious problem-solver who thrives in a customer-centric, agile environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and critical thinking are essential.
  • You should be able to break down complex problems, present data in clear, compelling ways, and work effectively with diverse teams.

What's needed: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Data Analysis, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or related role
  • 2+ years of experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methods (such as pre/post, synthetic control, multi-armed bandits, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience with data querying / processing languages such as SQL, and Python / R 
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, etc.), experience with Adobe Analytics is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Experience in predictive modeling and machine learning

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.  In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
