Job Title: DC Parametric Test Wafer Probe Engineer - FET Characterization

Location: Richardson, TX (Renner Site)

Job Summary: Qorvo is seeking a skilled DC Parametric Test Wafer Probe Engineer with expertise in FET characterization to join our test engineering team. The ideal candidate will specialize in wafer probing and DC electrical measurements focused on FET devices, supporting device characterization and production test development. This role collaborates closely with design, process and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate parametric test data and device performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize and maintain DC parametric test programs specifically for FET device wafer probing.
  • Operate and troubleshoot wafer probers and DC parametric test equipment to ensure precise FET characterization.
  • Collaborate with FET device design and process engineers to define test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze FET parametric test data to identify device performance trends, yield issues and process variations.
  • Support wafer probe station setup, calibration and maintenance with a focus on FET devices.
  • Document test procedures, characterization results and provide detailed technical reports to project teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional design and test reviews, contributing to continuous improvement of FET test methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and manufacturing standards in all test operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with DC parametric test equipment and wafer probing systems, with specific experience in FET device characterization.
  • Strong understanding of DC electrical characterization and test measurement.
  • Proficient in test program development and data analysis software/tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing environment experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automated wafer probers and parametric test automation for FETs, Caps, Resistors, and Diodes.
  • Experience with C, C++. C# programming.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.
  • Knowledge of test yield analysis and statistical process control
