Job description

Orange County Soccer Club Equipment Staff Intern Opportunity
Orange County Soccer Club is seeking to hire an Equipment Staff Intern to assist the department manager with day-to-day equipment operations for the Club.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
โ€ข Assist coaching staff with field set up for training and pre-game warm up.
โ€ข Ensure practice and game day balls are properly inflated.
โ€ข Launder all training and game day gear.
โ€ข Pack for home and away matches.
โ€ข Heat press all names, numbers, sponsor logos, and team badges on apparel as required by team and league guidelines.
โ€ข Partner with department manager on all repairs and needs including inventory, storage, and distribution.
โ€ข Coordinate with technical staff for meal pickup/delivery to training field.
โ€ข Coordinate with coaching staff for field scheduling with City of Irvine.
โ€ข Daily preparation of locker room prior to player arrival.
โ€ข Assist in setting up the stretching area prior to player arrival.
โ€ข Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in preparing the hydration needed for training.
โ€ข Assist in preparing the GPS Catapult training vest prior to player arrival
โ€ข Other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Intern Requirements
โ€ข Applicants with previous experience in soccer (coach, staff, player) are preferred, but not required.
โ€ข Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
โ€ข Must be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks at once.
โ€ข Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
โ€ข Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and evenings, as required.
