Your Role
As a Manual Milling Machinist, you will use precision tools and manual equipment to produce high-quality components to exact specifications. You'll work with detailed drawings and measurement tools, ensuring that every part leaving your station meets the strict quality standards that define Master Machining.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate various manual milling machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, and technical drawings
  • Verify parts meet print specifications using precision measuring tools
  • Perform daily maintenance on machines and maintain a clean workspace
  • Monitor tool wear and replace as needed to ensure consistent output
  • Load, align, and indicate parts accurately to fixtures
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards

What We're Looking For:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on manual milling experience
  • Proficient in using measurement tools and reading blueprints
  • Strong understanding of manual machining processes and tolerances
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing top-quality work
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work overtime or occasional Saturdays when needed
