We are hiring a Logistics Clerk to support inbound and outbound transportation operations in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The right candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while coordinating shipments with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
This Logistics Clerk position supports the company's transportation and distribution operations by helping ensure customer orders are routed, scheduled, tracked, and documented accurately.
Key Duties
  • Allocate and verify customer orders and schedule TL and LTL pickups with carriers.
  • Monitor shipment arrivals, track delays, and follow up with carriers as needed.
  • Submit routing requests through customer portals and prepare shipping documents and BOLs.
  • Maintain accurate PRO number, trailer number, BOL number, ship date, and load number information in Great Plains.
  • Provide daily shipment recap emails and coordinate with internal teams and carriers to support on-time pickups.
Who Should Apply
