ProMach's Brenton is currently seeking a Field Service Technician to provide non-supervised professional service and training support for Brenton Engineering customers; assuring our product always conforms to requirements. This position can be located within 1 hour of a major airport and reports to our Field Service Manager.
Are you motivated about this work?
  • Direct and Assist customer personnel in the installation, start-up and training of Brenton machines and systems
  • Provide technical service support to customers when their machines are not performing
  • Provide Engineering Department with accurate updates on all changes made to machines in the field
  • Be an integral part of the team for final checkout of machines assuring they are ready for shipment
  • Be technically competent, Mechanically and Electrically, with the ability to move through and edit PLC and HMI programs easily
  • Fluent in setup and operations of all three Brenton Product Lines (Case packers, Shrink Wrappers, and Fanuc Robots and Controllers)

  • Ability to work online with Rockwell PLC's and HMI's, navigate and make edits/changes to PLC and HMI programs.
  • Fanuc Robot experience and certification highly desirable with 2-4 years of field experience.

  • Educator - good verbal and written presentation - organized - good planner, good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced production environment. Team player with coaching, interpersonal and technical skills.
  • Be technically competent, mechanically and electrical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
