Job description

Position Summary GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of the PGA Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professional, the Pro Shot Attendant will perform variety of attending duties at Bunker Hill Golf Club. Duties include scheduling use of the golf course; maintaining and providing equipment to participants of sporting events or recreational pursuits; operating concessions; and performing other duties as assigned. Job Duties Sell products or services.

Provide attraction or event information to patrons; patrons with directions to locales or attractions; and rental clubs. Explain regulations, policies, or procedures. Maintain knowledge of business operations; financial or account records; supply or equipment inventories; uniform and nametag usage per guidelines.

Monitor operational quality or safety; electronic tee sheet and control of golfers using 1st and 10th tee. Communicate with management or other staff to resolve problems. Assist in preparing operational reports or records.

Assist patrons with entering or exiting golf carts. Clean facilities or work areas including staging area, cart barn and all storage areas; and tools or equipment including rental golf clubs and golf carts. Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Inform supervisor of equipment malfunctions. Verify patron or staff credentials or identity for personal checks and golf cart rentals. Distribute resources to patrons or employees.

Administer golfer check-in and fee collections. Manage play under facility guidelines. Operate point of sale terminal.

Complete all transactions. Park golf carts and fill with gas. Stage carts.

Assist with start-up and closing procedures and tournament set-up. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be sixteen years of age.

Must have a valid state driver's license.
