About JerseySTEM
All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) positions.
JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey.
Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization's gender-equity agenda.
Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K-12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.
Overview
This is a pro-bono Unpaid volunteer position.
JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls.
The Cactachafire Sourcer/Screenerr will be responsible f
Responsibilities
  • Attend virtual team meetings weekly on Tuesdays 8pm
  • Login to Catcahfire on a daily basis
  • Screen applying candidates within 24 hours
  • Invite other candidates to apply.
  • Follow up with retained candidates
  • Send DNQ to those wo are not retained
  • 3-5 hours/week; Minimum 6 months commitment.

Qualifications
  • Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap
  • Intereste in learning Catcahfire, iCIMS and ither HR software
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and can think big picture
  • Excellence communication skills (written)
  • Experience with volunteering, start-up/ non-profit environment is preferred
