Required Skills / Non-Negotiables

  • Minimum 7 years of commercial low voltage and AV integration experience.
  • Strong commercial Pro AV installation background.
  • Required: Crestron control systems.
  • Required: Extron systems.
  • Commercial security and access control installation experience.
  • Installation and commissioning of commercial Pro AV systems.
  • Installation of projectors, video walls, flat-panel displays, and automated screens.
  • Experience with DSPs, matrix switching, HD video distribution, and video conferencing systems.
  • Rack building, structured rack layouts, and cable management.
  • Structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber).
  • Installation/configuration of IP camera systems (NVR/DVR).
  • Access control installation and configuration.
  • Experience integrating commercial security systems.
  • Ability to read AV drawings, signal flow documentation, and architectural plans.
  • Commercial IT/networking knowledge.
  • Advanced troubleshooting of complex AV systems.
  • Experience leading technicians and managing field installations.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work at heights.

Strongly Desired Skills

  • AVIXA, Crestron, Extron, CEDIA, or BICSI certifications.
