Key Account Manager - Home Depot, Pro & Field Sales
Location: Remote - Atlanta Metro
Base Salary Rate: $126,684.00.00 - $149,040.00

About This Role
The Key Account Manager - Home Depot Pro and Field Sales will oversee all aspects of Quote Center, Pro Desk, Field Sales and Training for the THD account team. This role is accountable for building a strong relationship with Home Depot Field and PRO leadership to achieve annual sales objectives. The position is responsible for training and cultivating all outside Pro sales personnel and working with inside Pro sales personnel in closing new business opportunities with single-family home builders, multi-family developers/contractors, and remodeling companies. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring all sales programs are known to Pro and Field personnel to drive revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for developing and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while positioning the Pro business for continued growth.
  • Provide monthly field communication with any relevant product and building code updates.
  • Regularly review and analyze business performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead regional and store training events (RVP Walks, PRO events, etc.)
  • Develop relationships with Store and PRO personnel and be the primary point of contact for all PRO and Field Sales needs.
  • Develop training materials to help PRO and Field Sales personnel gain the necessary knowledge of the fire safety category and "Why Kidde".
  • Serve as a point of contact for Quote Center/Pro teams; ensure timely follow-ups or requests. connecting with and following up with requests from stores and sales associates
  • Support Quote Center/PRO business by monitoring product availability, pricing accuracy, and order fulfillment to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Oversee third-party field service resources supporting The Home Depot, responsible for managing the relationship, performance, and execution of these field service activities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of Key Account Management experience
  • OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 7+ years of Key Account Management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate plans and strategy for The Home Depot PRO/Field Sales account.
  • Comfortable creating training courses and presenting to groups of 20+ people.
  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently and drive projects from initiation to completion.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of direct experience or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • This position will be remote, preferably based near Atlanta, GA
