PRN Detox & Residential Nurse (RN/LPN)

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate PRN RN or LPN to join our team at a detox and residential substance use treatment facility. This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working in behavioral health and addiction treatment in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The PRN Nurse will provide nursing care and support to clients receiving detoxification and residential treatment services while helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor clients throughout detoxification and residential treatment
  • Administer medications as ordered by providers
  • Monitor withdrawal symptoms and report changes in condition
  • Obtain vital signs and complete clinical documentation
  • Coordinate with medical, clinical, and behavioral health teams
  • Respond appropriately to medical or psychiatric concerns
  • Maintain accurate and timely charting in the EMR
  • Support daily nursing operations within the facility
Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin RN or LPN license in good standing
  • Previous detox, behavioral health, psychiatric, correctional, or residential experience preferred
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
