GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our team located in the Radiology Department!
Job Duties:
  • Perform routine x-ray imaging services, during the shifts assigned, to include portable, C-Arm Surgery procedures and one or more specialized modalities such as CT, MRI or Mammography, as allowed through the scope of their license/credentials.
  • Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Differentiates between film, CR, and DR imaging formats and adjusts techniques accordingly.
  • Review images to ensure accurate positioning and quality technique.
  • Performs general image handling duties including processing of digital images and merging images.
  • Maintains stock and supplies in designated area.
  • Assists the physician as required.

Position-Specific Details:
About this job: This is a PRN position. Incumbent must possess a current BLS from American Heart Association.Work Location: This Technologist position is located in the Radiology Department .
Work Hours: Applicant is subject to work evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
Pay Details: Technologist - Starting Salary is $28.00 per hour + Shift Diffs.
Radiologic Technologist- PRN vacancies in the Radiology Department also receive up to an additional $3 per hour actually worked for active certifications the applicant possesses.
