Job description

Department: Pre-Op Care Unit
Shift: Day
Working Hours: 12 hours shifts PRN as needed
Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) at Baptist Health is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and the training provided by Baptist Health to provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking.
Other information:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing in the state of Arkansas.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 18 months of Registered Nurse experience required, including one year in the specialty applied for.
  • Specialty units require and will provide specific specialized education.
  • Healthcare CPR certification required. Some areas may require ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS (training provided).
  • Required to float within the specialty or across campuses no more than 30 miles from the home campus

This job will be authorized 24.00 hours bi-weekly.
