🔥 HIGH-GROSS DAY-SHIFT CATH LAB TECH CONTRACT – CALIFORNIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Carmichael, California. Operating within a high-volume 2-suite Cardiac Cath Lab at a premier acute care medical center, this high-paying assignment features a 4x10 daytime schedule (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM, Monday–Friday). If you are looking to secure a premium California package nearing $4,000/week with max tax-free stipends, scrub invasive cardiac and peripheral cases, and manage PCI/STEMI coverage, this contract is tailored for you!

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $3,940.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,652.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $52.00/hr (32 regular hours)
  • Daily Overtime Rate: $78.00/hr (8 daily OT hours included under California labor guidelines)

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM, Monday–Friday schedule).
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular/OT hours guaranteed weekly.
  • On-Call Requirements: Average of 12 call days per month (including at least one full weekend rotation: Friday 17:30 PM to Monday 07:00 AM). Mandatory 30-minute response time for STEMI call. Standby call rate is $7.00/hr ($138.00/hr call-back rate).
  • Clinical Scope & Case Mix: Averages ~8 cases per day across a 2-suite lab. Procedures cover all invasive cardiac interventions (excluding structural heart) and complex peripheral procedures (carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diagnostic and intervention). No "dirty" IR procedures (PEG tubes, G-tubes, nephrostomy tubes, etc.).
  • EMR Charting System: Cerner EMR.
  • Scrubs: Hospital-provided scrubs.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical Cath Lab experience is strictly required. Must have proven hands-on scrub experience for PCI/STEMI as well as both cardiac and peripheral cases.
  • Certifications Required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential and active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) are strictly required. (Radiology licenses are NOT required).
  • Employment Eligibility Restriction: Candidates cannot have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI or Dignity Health) within the past 12 months. (Candidates employed PRN through outside travel agencies are eligible).
