Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week contract at a Level I Trauma center in an acute care setting.

Details
  • Acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 main procedure rooms, 1 dedicated EP lab, and 1 hybrid room handling both vascular and cardiac cases
  • Patient cases include interventional cardiology, EP, peripheral vascular, structural heart (MitraClip, TAVR), IABP, and EMTALA placements, with 10–25 cases per day
  • EMR systems used are Cerner and Xper; Philips and Siemens imaging equipment in use
  • 12-hour day shifts with call requirements
  • Call coverage required 8–12 days per month; holidays worked on a rotating basis
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • ARRT certification required; must be able to scrub
  • Active BLS required
  • Active AZ MRTBE CRT license required; license required if applicable
  • Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted
  • A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
  • Performs circulating and scrub roles within the Cath Lab
  • Respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available 24/7
  • On-site charge nurse support available
  • 30-minute call response time required
  • On-site orientation is 2 days
  • Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates placed PRN through outside firms will be considered
  • Candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility may not be eligible for travel pay rates
