Primary Functions:

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, isresponsible for the operations of the pharmacy including dispensing,scheduling, distribution, CQI, regulatory compliance andsupervision of pharmacy personnel.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Performs distribution of pharmaceuticalproducts, ancillary supplies and equipment
  • Ensures compliance with CQI program,licensure, and regulatory requirements as they relate to pharmacy
  • Assures appropriate clinical monitoring ofpatients
  • Assists with pharmacy inventories
  • Assist in obtaining/completing billinginformation and documentation
  • Prescriptions,pick lists, drug profiles, and other documents as required by law or company
  • Ensurespharmacy compliance with HPC’s policies and procedures
  • Conductsin-services as required/requested
  • Participates inpatient safety, quality, and infection control programs as directed
