Job description

CPC is currently seeking a Roadway Project Engineer/Project Manager in our growing Deerfield Beach office. The selected candidate will contribute to all phases of transportation engineering projects for various public and private sector clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Transportation / Roadway Project Manager will be involved in the design, and delivery of roadway and transportation projects, familiarity with traffic engineering design elements such as signalization, signing and pavement markings and lighting design is a plus. Projects including but not limited to the following:

  • ·         Milling and Resurfacing
  • Roadway Widening
  • Intersection Improvements
  • Pedestrian, bicycle and sidewalk safety improvements
  • Neighborhood improvements projects
  • Horizontal and vertical roadway alignment
  • Drainage design
  • Stormwater Management
  • Utility relocation coordination
  • Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plans
  • Preparation of construction plans and contract documents

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college
  • An active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation engineering with FDOT and Municipal projects.
  • Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments while meeting deadlines and budget constraints
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports and coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies

Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
