Job description

Tutor

Little Hugs Tutoring is currently hiring tutors in Hillsborough County for the 2026-27 school year starting at $30-$40/hr based on experience. We are specifically in need of math and reading tutors, but ability to aide in additional subjects is a plus. All of our tutors must be available for sessions before, after, or during school hours Mon-Fri on the assigned public/private school campus. All tutors applying must currently hold a State of Florida teacher certification in the subject area appropriate to the grade levels they will be tutoring. A tutor with a FLDOE Statement of Eligibility (SOE) may be selected to tutor at our private school locations until they complete the process to obtain full certification. Tutors are expected to know their subject matter as training will not be provided.
