Position Summary:

The UNC School of Nursing invites applications for part-time clinical faculty positions to teach in our graduate Family Nurse Practitioner programs. Part-time, nurse practitioner clinical faculty primarily teach on-campus in clinical skills laboratories/simulations and conduct site visits for specialty rotations. Depending on interest and expertise, opportunities for classroom teaching may be available. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of the programs. The positions are highly flexible, depending on the interest and experience of the applicant..

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Two years clinical APRN/FNP experience
  • Unencumbered CO RN/APRN license
  • National certification as FNP (AANP or ANCC)
  • Completion of Urine Drug Screening

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctoral Degree in Nursing

The School of Nursing offers degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our undergraduate programs include a traditional and second bachelor's BSN program and a fully online RN-BSN completion program.
