Infectious Disease Physician Job Opening in Macon, Georgia

A private infectious disease practice in central Georgia is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to support both inpatient consultative care and outpatient clinic services for a large regional patient population. The role includes performing daily inpatient rounds, managing a broad range of infectious conditions, and contributing to epidemiology initiatives within affiliated facilities. Physicians also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support clinical continuity across settings, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Infectious Disease
  • Current physician licensure or ability to obtain state licensure
  • Experience caring for complex adult infectious disease cases
  • Training in internal medicine and infectious disease fellowship
