Job description

Join Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist in Los Angeles, CA, and contribute to a team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with a close-knit team of physicians and other hospital departments, ensuring seamless care transitions within a vibrant community. The position supports professional growth and emphasizes a patient-first approach, making a real difference in the health of local residents.

Practice Info

  • Join a close-knit team of 19 physicians at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
  • Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Actively participate in community health initiatives
  • Utilize EPIC and have access to Sound’s informatics platform

Responsibilities

  • Participate in rapid response and code teams
  • Be trained in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support

Compensation

  • Expected annual 1099 compensation for the first year is $220k-$240k

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation
  • Work primarily day shifts, with approximately 2–3 night shifts per month
  • Part-time commitment also available

Requirements

  • Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine
  • New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively with PCPs, specialists, patients, and families to ensure coordinated care and high patient satisfaction
  • Is business-minded, with an interest in learning and understanding the operational and financial aspects of a private practice hospitalist model
  • Has excellent documentation skills
  • Are flexible, open to feedback, and willing to embrace our approach to patient care and practice operations
