Role Summary
The Private Placement Specialist will be responsible for reporting on private placement activities and providing inforce support. This will include assisting operations, tracking tasks, sales tracking, case management, policy issue, fund administration, hedge fund trading coordination, maintaining accurate fund information and disclosure records, problem resolution, and communications.
Responsibilities
  • Oversees the pricing of all Insurance Dedicated Funds (IDF) and Separate Managed Account (SMA) funds, including missed and delayed prices
  • Tracks the addition and removal of all funds for product
  • Updates IDF performance documentation
  • Create and maintain Breakage, Short of Liquid Asset, Death Sweep and SharePoint reports
  • Work extensively with a Third Party Administrator (TPA) on all IDF corrective processing projects
  • Assists Trade Manager with the successful execution of all registered and exempt fund trading
  • Monitor internal and external requests for accuracy and timeliness, and assist in analyzing errors related to reporting, price files, and trade issues
  • Maintain and update the web portal and related documents to ensure all information is current
  • Audit a portion of other team members' client deliverables to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Regularly draft professional correspondence to vendors, fund managers and administrators, Member Firms, insurance carriers, and internal teams
  • Handles invoicing and budget items
  • Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred (familiar with exempt funds)
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience and present findings to teams
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for analyst success
  • Strong problem solving skills in order to articulate end-to-end processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with team members
  • Ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Able to work, both independently as well as a member of a team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Hybrid work environment in Dallas, TX offering a blend of virtual/work from home and onsite days designed to support flexibility
  • Normal office environment/desk assignment
  • Extensive use of PC's, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse
