Job description

Nick Rail Music - Private Music Instructor
Nick Rail Music is seeking EXPERIENCED INSTRUMENT MUSIC TEACHERS to teach private music lessons.
Nick Rail Music is a Santa Barbara original and has served local musicians since 1986. We are looking for teachers for a variety of instruments in all instrument families: orchestral strings, woodwind, percussion, brass, fretted strings, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Teaching private lessons
  • Communicate with parents of students (where applicable) on the progress of each student
  • Assisting with customer service issues as needed, helping to maintain long term students by creating a great experience
  • Assign practice and other music-related homework to expand the student's knowledge of music
  • Attend all scheduled lessons and participate in recitals
  • Provide meaningful and educational instruction with prepared lessons and materials
