The Asia Medic Diagnostic and Counseling Center is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time remote position with a work schedule of 30-40 hours per week. We emphasize work-life balance, allowing our counselors the flexibility to tailor their schedules to meet both professional and personal commitments. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that include crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication management approaches, tailored to the specific needs of clients.
• Complete all documentation accurately and promptly to meet regulatory standards, contributing to the overall quality of care provided.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools to enhance the quality of client assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to design and implement effective positive behavior support plans that improve client outcomes.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that our clinic maintains the highest standards of care.
• Engage with community partners, state agencies, and relevant service systems to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to promote understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local, state, and private organizations to further enhance service offerings and secure additional funding sources.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending workshops and conferences, representing the agency in community task forces and committees.
• Embody and promote the organization's mission, values, and principles in every aspect of your work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to team goals and organizational success.

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse population, including individuals battling mental health concerns, substance abuse issues, and developmental disabilities. You will work closely with clients to create a supportive and safe environment where they can explore their challenges, develop coping strategies, and work towards recovery and improved quality of life.

• A master’s or doctorate degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Possession of a valid LMHC license issued by the state board is mandatory.
• Proficient in maintaining clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, fostering effective communication.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills based on clinical experience and ethical standards.

• Experience in community mental health settings, particularly working with diverse populations facing a range of challenges.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in therapy and assessment.
• Previous work history involving crisis intervention and management.
