Direct Counsel is representing a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a midlevel Corporate Associate (3–5 years) to join its sophisticated Corporate & Business Transactions practice group.

Locations: Boston | Hartford | Houston | Los Angeles | New York | Orange County | Philadelphia | Pittsburgh | Silicon Valley | San Francisco

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong M&A and private equity transactional experience to work on complex domestic and cross-border transactions within a highly regarded national corporate platform.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in sophisticated:
    • Mergers & Acquisitions
    • Private Equity transactions
    • General corporate transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction agreements and related deal documentation
  • Work closely with clients, investors, and deal teams throughout all stages of transactions
  • Advise clients on strategic corporate and transactional matters across a variety of industries
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of large law firm corporate transactional experience
  • Strong background in:
    • M&A transactions
    • Private Equity deals
    • Transaction drafting and negotiation
  • Excellent academic credentials
