CDL Driver For Warehouse/Distribution Center

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a CDL Driver for the Warehouse/Distribution Center in Pompano Beach, FL. We are looking for skilled motivated drivers who are reliable, hard-working, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Sun Commodities is a privately held company and we are one of the main players in the wholesale of produce in the State of Florida. Sun group of companies distributes produce locally, internationally and services the cruise ships industry for over 20+ years!

Class A CDL Drivers needed to deliver grocery products to wholesale and retail customers.

  • Minimum 3 years tractor trailer driving experience
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) class A with clean record

  • Must pass all drug/alcohol screenings
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck, Thermo King Unit, sliding fifth wheel and sliding tandem wheels
  • Nearly all work is performed outdoors
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather, etc.,)
  • Perform in environments with temperatures ranging from -22 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Use repetitive motions, using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment
  • Able to load and unload pallets of product from the trailer
