About the Role:
The PAM Client Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience to the high-net-worth and institutional clients served by Baird's Private Asset Management (PAM) team. This individual supports all aspects of client service by handling complex and detail-oriented responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The Impact You'll Make:
  • Responsible for client onboarding support, including preparing new account paperwork, opening accounts, transitioning new assets to Baird, and establishing an ongoing communication/client service plan
  • Manages incoming client and Financial Advisor requests-completing the request directly when appropriate or assigning it to the correct team member to ensure timely follow-through
  • Supports the preparation and distribution of tax reporting materials for clients and CPAs across the six yearly tax reporting periods, assembling all necessary information ahead of each deadline
  • Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for Financial Advisor(s), as well as leverage the platform to manage the client relationship through mailings, reporting, e-mail tracking, and more, with the goal of implementing well-defined client service models
  • Updates data for quarterly client reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely inclusion in client deliverables. In addition, coordinates materials needed for client meetings, including paperwork and reports
  • Assists clients with Baird Online by troubleshooting login issues, guiding them through website navigation, and helping them access key account information and documents
  • May also provide back-up to other segments of the PAM Team when necessary, including administrative support in scheduling client appointments, coordinating all aspects of meeting preparation, answering inbound phone calls, sending client communications, as well as perform other duties and special projects as necessary

What You'll Bring to Baird:
  • 2+ years of prior work experience; financial, business or administrative preferred
  • Must have Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 or be willing to study and obtain within 18 months of hire. Training and resources to be provided and paid for by Baird
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn and effectively navigate Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including e-mail) and ability to adeptly exchange ideas and information
  • Ability to work extra hours during peak periods
  • Strong organizational skills - consistent ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment to achieve specific goals in a timely matter
  • Detail orientation with an emphasis on accuracy. Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Maintain client confidentiality in all situations
  • Highly reliable, maintains excellent attendance, and approaches work with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
