Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review tax returns as it relates to high-net-worth individuals, primarily their personal income tax return as well as their closely held businesses, trust, estate, and gift tax returns

  • Conduct tax research into industry and government developments as it relates to wealth planning opportunities and strive to maintain up-to-date tax knowledge

  • Identify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goals

  • Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements

  • Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgets

  • Build on strong coaching skills to mentor key talent

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related discipline

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in US tax consulting/compliance within public accounting

  • Master's Degree in Taxation
