Job Description

Cresset is seeking an Associate Director, Private Wealth Client Services with 5+ years of experience managing the administrative and private banking needs for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clientele. The candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for clients and collaborate with a portfolio manager to build strong relationships and to drive retention and growth by providing a superior experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships on multi-custodial platforms
  • Serve as a primary lead for client onboarding, investment implementation, and private banking services
  • Create and implement customized onboarding experience for high net-worth clients
  • Transfer and reconcile assets from contra firms
  • Implement new investment strategies and hire managers as directed by advisor
  • Prepare client subscription and redemption documents related to alternative investments
  • Manage client billing (assign attributes, start/end dates, raising cash)
  • Assist with client inquiries regarding inflow and outflows
  • Establish lines of credit/margin
  • Establish 529 accounts
  • Manage client donor advised/charitable distributions
  • Attend quarterly client portfolio review meetings as needed (FO)
  • Serve as a liaison between Cresset and client CPAโ€™s and attorneys (FO)
  • Manage tax document facilitation with client CPAโ€™s (FO)
  • Identify new technology and opportunities to enhance client experience and promote internal scalability


Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ plus yearsโ€™ financial services experience working with ultra-high net worth clients
  • Knowledge of Fidelity and Schwab custodial platforms a plus
  • Operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential
  • Approach problems with creativity, innovation, and tenacity
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency
  • Think strategically and operate independently
  • Multitask to successfully manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Evaluate and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Organize and create structure for client relationships
