JOB OVERVIEW:
The Private Client Associate is responsible for supporting the Private Client team in providing exceptional service to our Private Client customers. The Private Client Associate works independently and must be able to take direction, seek guidance when necessary, and demonstrate a sense of urgency when required. This is a non-exempt position.
Responsibilities
QUALITIES:
  • Act as a client advocate always.
  • Maintain a positive relationship and excellent communication with client and co-workers.
  • Work as a team and contribute to the team effort by openly sharing insurance knowledge.
  • Assume ownership of problems until the resolution is successfully accomplished.
  • Become a student of the business. Seek insurance knowledge through training and education.

SKILLS:
  • Support Private Client Account Managers and Producers to meet the needs of our Private Client customers by assisting with new business opportunities and existing clientele.
  • Collaborate and work closely with Private Client team to ensure a seamless new business process regarding proposals, account reviews, creating executive reviews or schedules of insurance so the producer is prepared to present to the client.
  • Assist relationship manager with billing inquiries, basic carrier endorsements, and contract review questions.
  • Maintain Client records in agency management systems. It is the associate's responsibility to accurately record and update client information in the system. This includes maintaining documentation of policy details, client contact information, and any changes or updates made throughout the process.
  • Process new business applications: The associate may be responsible for data entry on new insurance applications. This involves reviewing the application for accuracy and completeness, collecting necessary documents, and entering the information into the system.
  • Assist in underwriting process: The associate may provide support by gathering necessary information from the Prospect Questionnaire, preparing applications for submission, and ensuring all required documentation is provided.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of our carrier's websites and utilize the sites to secure accurate and timely information for our clients.
  • Document all communications with clients and carriers in a prompt manner. Records must reflect the most current status at all times.
  • Comply with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet service and quality standards.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned. Manage projects as directed by EPIC Private Client Leadership.
  • Manage and process daily carrier Download and Communication Logs.
  • Manage and process daily invoicing and monthly expirations.
  • Pull cancellation, reinstatements and non pays from carriers' websites daily.
  • Enter and set up prospects in management system and run MVR & CLUE.

COMPENSATION:
The national average for hourly rate is role is $30.77 - $35.90 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
