POSITION SUMMARY:

The perfect Restaurant General Manager at Qdoba is a confident decision-maker who has a proven track record and experience in guest / customer service, employee management, business and financial management, and people motivation. He or she is an excellent communicator—both in writing and verbally. As the General Manager, your responsibilities will be:


  1. Focus on your people by creating a culture of high employee retention and full staffing
  2. Manage crew member employees in a manner that encourages them to grow with the company and reduce turnover
  3. Interview and hire team members
  4. Train your people with passion and purpose so that they feel empowered and encouraged to unlock their full potential
  5. Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
  6. Build sales through the Qdoba recipe of delicious food, over the top hospitality, and a sparkling clean restaurant and kitchen
  7. Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitality
  8. Ensure continual improvement of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
  9. Be a leader of your business
  10. Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs
  11. Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales
  12. Manage food and labor costs
  13. Execute company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

To remain compliant with state and federal laws, you must be at least 18 years old.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 5+ years QSR experience with 2+ years in a leadership position

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills; highly motivated and organized. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior. Can take direction from individuals in higher-level positions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to recruit, hire, coach, train and motivate employees. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment and cases of product weighing approximately 10-50 lbs. Must be able to speak and hear clearly on the telephone and in person. Must be able to operate a computer, i.e., desktop, tablet, etc.
