Job Description

The Privacy Team in the Compliance Division is responsible for managing our customer's enterprise Privacy Program and its related policies, standards and initiatives. As a Second Line group, the Privacy Team oversees compliance with applicable laws and regulations, establish privacy controls that are to be implemented into relevant First Line business processes, and to partner with Enterprise Risk Management and other key stakeholders to manage privacy risk. The Chief Privacy Officer is seeking a PM to lead and manage day-to-day activities in the area of project management, operational efficiency, management reporting, and support ongoing monitoring activities. In this role, the PM will also be the primary interface with IT and Information Security and other stakeholders on Privacy projects and deliverables. The PM will also work on diverse projects where analysis and evaluation skills will be critical.


Responsibilities Include:

Lead project management activities related to privacy initiatives in conjunction with IT and other key stakeholders, driving towards cooperation and collaboration among project team members.

Maintain project budget/s; interface with Business Management Team, IT BIO and EPMO.

Manage and maintain Privacy Program initiatives project timeline/s.

Review and recommend IT project privacy impact assessment submissions. Draft PIAs, as required.

Create and implement action plans; evaluate the process and results.

Assist in preparation of Privacy Office monthly reports

Maintain complete and accurate records

Maintain Privacy Office policies, standards and procedures

Review and track privacy issues in GRC

Maintain Privacy Team Project Plan ensuring weekly updates

Perform daily monitoring activities and manage inquiries (Vontu DLP and Privacy Mailbox)

Maintain Privacy Office LAN, intranet and SharePoint sites

Collaborate with IT Architecture on updates to Privacy Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), revising privacy artifacts included in System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Assist on cross-divisional and special projects 

Qualifications

College degree or equivalent experience

5-7 years of related professional work experience

Minimum 2-3 years demonstrated project management experience (PMP preferred)

Strong planning and time management skills

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work constructively with diverse teams, partners and stakeholders across the enterprise

Compliance or operational risk management experience 


Preferred Skills 

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve issues and make decisions which are timely and in the best interest of the organization

Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity and relationship management skills
