Glaucoma Specialist – Chicago North Shore | High Referral Volume | Advanced Surgical Platform | Academic Affiliation

Endeavor Health, the principal academic affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship‑trained Glaucoma Specialist to join our established and growing Division of Ophthalmology.

This is a unique opportunity to develop a high‑volume glaucoma practice within the largest multispecialty ophthalmology group on Chicago’s North Shore, supported by a strong internal referral network, modern infrastructure, and a collaborative physician‑led environment.

Our surgical center at Glenbrook Hospital features:

  • ORA intraoperative aberrometry

This environment supports the full spectrum of glaucoma care, including laser, MIGS, and incisional glaucoma surgery.

Position Details
  • Role: Fellowship‑trained Glaucoma Ophthalmologist (Board Certified/Eligible)
  • Locations: Skokie, Gurnee, and Glenbrook Hospital
  • Schedule: Full‑time, 40 clinical hours per week, 46 weeks per year
  • Practice model: Physician‑led, integrated medical group within a nationally recognized health system
Qualifications Minimum Education Level
  • Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school required
Minimum Licensure Requirements
  • Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois
Minimum Certification Requirements
  • Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise

  • Compensation range: $300,000 – $528,000, based on experience, subspecialty training, and productivity
