Job description

McKesson is an impact-driven, Fortune 10 company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. We are known for delivering insights, products, and services that make quality care more accessible and affordable. Here, we focus on the health, happiness, and well-being of you and those we serve - we care.

Together, we thrive as we shape the future of health for patients, our communities, and our people. If you want to be part of tomorrow's health today, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Transformation - Lead cross-functional finance transformation efforts in partnership with Accounting, FP&A, MTO/ATV program teams, and other stakeholders to design, refine, and operationalize finance processes that support the Medical-Surgical separation and related RemainCo transformation initiatives. Shape future-state ways of working, including governance, approvals, reporting cadence, and process controls, while setting direction for simplification, standardization, automation, and AI-enabled workflow improvements. Cost Management (Analysis, Reporting, and Insights) - Establish financial governance, visibility, and accountability for separation-related and transformation-related costs, including TSA, one-time, stranded, and other program costs. Leverage AI, automation, Power BI, advanced Excel, and other analytics tools to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and speed of insight.

Strategic Initiatives and Executive Support - Drive high-priority strategic finance initiatives and ad hoc deliverables that support successful execution of the separation and RemainCo transformation agenda. Lead special analyses, scenario modeling, issue resolution, and executive-level materials to inform decisions, assess trade-offs, support value realization, and address emerging program priorities.

Cross-Functional Stakeholder Coordination - Act as a trusted finance advisor and integrator across cross-functional stakeholders (FP&A, Accounting, Legal, IT, HR, MTO/ATV program, and others business stakeholders from both McKesson and the Medical-Surgical business) to align priorities, clarify ownership, and drive execution of critical separation and transformation deliverables.
