Transitions At Home, is currently seeking to hire a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to join our Home Health Team! Weโ€™re looking for an organized, dependable, and friendly professional who enjoys supporting a busy office and helping our team provide exceptional care to our clients.

Transitions At Home Administrative Assistant is responsible for completing authorizations and processing referrals for home health services. In addition to reviewing the medical history of potential patients, you'll contact referring physicians/facilities for additional information, verify their insurance coverage, and coordinate admissions with the team leaders. Monitor the schedule for our add-on patients, ensuring there are no conflicts make sure we have prior authorization needed to move forward with services, and assisting in office tasks as needed. Under supervision of the Administrator.
Hours: Full-Time
  • 40 hours per week 8:00 am - 4:30pm
  • Monday through Friday
  • No Holidays or Weekends

Qualifications / Job Requirements:
  • Business related degree or High School diploma and comparable experience in office management
  • Previous experience in Eligibly and Referrals (1year HH preferred)
  • Previous experience in Authorization Requests (1year HH preferred)
  • Previous experience in Tracking and Managing Authorizations (1year HH preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous health care office experience
  • Ability to work independently with organizational skills, to prioritize tasks.
