Billing Specialist
One Allied Way Manchester, CT 06042
The Billing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the financial operations of our print manufacturing business by ensuring accurate billing, timely invoicing, and efficient account management. This position works closely with production, customer service, and accounting teams to process invoices, monitor customer accounts, and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting overall operational efficiency.What You'll Do:
  • Responsible for analysis and input of jobs billed by Sales Reps, including creation and distribution of all pre-bills as necessary.
  • Responsible for all billing issues, including invoicing, updating statements, assisting client in review of invoices.
  • Make all invoice adjustments as required.
  • Calculate Sales Tax.
  • Manage revenue targets and ensure that targets are met.
  • Balance and process monthly reports for Management.
  • Provide support for Management, Sales, CSRs, and Customers.
  • Educate non-billing staff on process enhancement in sales for billing accuracy.
  • Filing Cost Sheets and Job Bags.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
What You Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of receivables, payables, billing or accounting experience.
  • Associates degree or experience in accounting, business, printing, or manufacturing.
  • Excellent visual skills and attention to color accuracy.
  • Knowledge of paper handling, cutting processes, and the printing industry.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting 70% | Walking 30% | Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 25-50 lbs. and more. | Ability to stand for extended periods. |
  • Ability to lift, move, and position materials throughout the workday.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.
