What are the different types of printing jobs?

Printing jobs involve various types of printing processes such as offset printing, digital printing, flexography, gravure, and screen printing. Each type requires specific skills, equipment, and materials, and workers may specialize in one or more methods depending on the industry and job requirements.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in a Printing role, and why are they important?

To thrive in a Printing role, you need a solid understanding of printing processes, color theory, and attention to detail, often supported by a high school diploma or vocational training. Familiarity with printing equipment, digital printing software (like Adobe Creative Suite), and knowledge of prepress and finishing techniques are essential. What Are Careers in the Printing Industry?

The printing industry also supports a bevy of marketing, administrative, and legal employees.
