Job Description:

 

Conceptualize and execute visually compelling designs across print and digital platforms, including POS materials, sell sheets, advertisements, brochures, packaging, promotional collateral, and oversized event assets (vehicle wraps, tents, coolers, and branded event materials). Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, social media, sales, trade, and events—to deliver cohesive, innovative design solutions that elevate the brand and enhance consumer experience. Partner with professional sports organizations (e.g., Kansas City Current, Florida Panthers, Gotham, San Diego Wave) to develop co-branded marketing materials that maintain brand standards while driving visibility and engagement. Develop and maintain corporate brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all internal and external assets. Design merchandise, trade materials, seasonal POS, and promotional tools supporting product launches, partnerships, and sales initiatives. Execute typography, composition, and layout-driven projects with precision, ensuring clarity, visual impact, and print production accuracy through close collaboration with vendors. Bring a strong fine art foundation to design work by integrating custom textures, hand-drawn elements, and mixed-media techniques into digital compositions. Blend traditional artistic approaches with refined digital execution to create distinctive, conceptually rich visual storytelling that differentiates the brand in competitive markets. Provide art direction and on-site support for photo shoots, ensuring imagery aligns with brand aesthetics and campaign objectives. Create culturally aware designs that resonate with diverse domestic and international audiences, reflecting market-specific nuances and branding needs.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience with Graphic Design, Fine Arts, and Production.
  • Demonstrated experience developing high-impact print and digital marketing materials, including packaging, point-of-sale materials, sell sheets, promotional collateral, oversized event graphics (vehicle wraps, tents), and co-branded partnership assets.
  • Ability to execute typography and layout-intensive projects with precision and clarity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) with exceptional skills in composition, typography, color management, and prepress preparation.
  • Independently produces fully print-ready assets, including mechanicals, dielines, and production files across packaging, POS, oversized formats, and international-market variations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency without reliance on external vendors.
  • Strong background in fine arts, illustration, and mixed media, enabling the creation of proprietary, in-house artwork exclusively owned by the company.
  • Ability to originate custom illustrations and seamlessly adapt them into scalable, commercially viable, production-ready assets across multiple formats.
  • Ability to translate abstract brand concepts and business objectives into visually compelling, commercially effective design solutions that enhance brand storytelling and consumer engagement across trade, retail, and event environments.
  • Experience developing and maintaining corporate brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across internal teams, external partnerships, and product launches.
  • Demonstrates strong cultural fluency and understanding of diverse market aesthetics, ensuring that creative assets reflect appropriate cultural nuance and resonate with international audiences.
