Job Description
 
We are seeking a skilled Turret Punch Press Operator to perform progressive machining on a diversified line of close tolerance work requiring a varying degree of skill and machining techniques. Work from drawings, specifications and job layouts.  Ability to set up, adjust and operate a Turret Punch Press.  
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Set up and operate manual turret punch press machines. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. 
  • Load, position, and secure sheet metal materials onto machines. 
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and machine settings. 
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate production. 
  • Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. 
  • Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or production issues. 
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. 
  • Maintain production records and complete required documentation. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies. 
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience operating turret punch presses or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred. 
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications.
  • Able to read a ruler, micrometer, caliper.
