Join our team as a Printing Machine Maintenance Technician on the 3rd shift, where your mechanical and electrical skills will keep advanced printing equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

This role focuses on maintaining and repairing complex, high-speed industrial printing and packaging machinery. You will apply your mechanical and electrical knowledge to ensure equipment operates safely and meets manufacturing specifications during the 3rd shift schedule.


Job Details

  • Machine Maintenance – Printing - 3rd Shift
  • LOCATION: Lenexa, KS 66219
  • POSITION: Right to Hire
  • SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am
  • PAY RATE: $25/hr +$1/hr shift differential

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair a wide range of mechanical and electromechanical printing equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Disassemble machines, replace worn or broken parts, adjust mechanical components, and restore equipment to operational standards.
  • Interpret diagrams, schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications to ensure repairs meet production requirements.
  • Clean and lubricate moving parts, order replacement components, and verify that repairs meet operational tolerances.
  • Adapt tools, materials, and procedures to resolve complex mechanical or electrical problems across the production floor.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • At least 3 years of machine maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical understanding of complex equipment.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools such as digital multimeter, clamp meter, continuity tester, non-contact voltage tester, and logic probe.
  • Proficient in use of basic hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions, and engineering specifications.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sheetfed offset printing presses.
  • Experience with high-speed manufacturing, print, bindery, inserting, packaging, or fulfillment equipment.


Work Environment

  • 3rd Shift schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 10:30pm to 6:30am.
  • Work location in Lenexa, KS 66219.
