Job description

We are currently experiencing rapid growth and seeking immediate help in our production department.

The Flexographic Printing Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials according to production schedules and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and adjust press equipment, including inks, plates, dies, and substrates, according to job specifications and work orders. • Load paper onto presses, and make necessary adjustments to accommodate various paper sizes • Operate flexographic printing press to produce printed materials, ensuring color quality, registration, and print clarity meet standards. • Perform routine press checks, quality inspections, and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal print quality. • Troubleshoot press issues, perform minor repairs, and coordinate with maintenance when necessary. • Maintain accurate production and quality records, including material usage and waste tracking. • Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. • Assist with training new press operators or helpers as needed. • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime. • Communicate e ectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to ensure production goals are met. • Clean printing unit cylinders, plates, and ink fountains at the completion of each production run • All duties as assigned by management



● Hours: Must be able to work 12-hour day shift, night shift/ Rotating Schedules including Weekends and Overtime. The specific hours are determined by management.
