We Build What Matters.

Felix Construction Company is seeking a Controls Panel Fabricator.  This role will work in a climate-controlled shop and will manufacture electrical panels used in the water and wastewater industry.  This position will report to the Panel Shop Manager.  Hours are Monday-Friday, 6AM-2:30PM.  
What You'll Do
  • Read schematics to feed wire for new electrical panels
  • Pull bill of materials (BOM) to create job boxes
  • Utilize AutoCAD to get accurate measurements for interior and exterior enclosure/panel layouts
  • Redline schematic/print sets
  • Update basic Panel Shop and field redlines utilizing AutoCAD
  • Cut, modify, and fabricate panels and enclosures
  • Operate various hand/power tools
  • Operate electrical process meter
  • Maintain UL information and UL log
  • Maintain Panel Shop tools, printers/engravers/software
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of electrical control experience is required (must have experience in a UL508A panel shop to be considered)
  • Some AutoCAD experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Have experience in a panel shop 
  • Have manual dexterity to bend, feed, and terminate wires
  • Ability to bend, twist and stand to perform normal job duties
  • Team player, motivated to learn and has interest in electrical fields
  • Is punctual and has attention to detail
  • Able to effectively communicate in English and follow directions
  • Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
