Join a Growing Post-Press Team

Originally a quick-print shop, we’ve become a leading local print production operation. We’re adding a Print Bindery Technician who thrives on precision, consistency, and safe, efficient machine operation.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Compensation: Starting at $24/hour, commensurate with relevant experience

What You’ll Do
  • Set up, operate, and monitor post-press equipment: printers, binders, trimmers
  • Primary focus: operate a saddle stitcher to staple through centerfolds of signatures for magazines and thin publications
  • Frequently run die-cutting equipment to produce custom cut-outs, decorative features, and individual pages
  • Operate a large trimmer to achieve uniform press sheet sizes
  • Adjust machine parameters for accuracy, speed, and spec compliance
  • Conduct routine/preventive maintenance; clean components; resolve minor mechanical issues
  • Independently maintain run quality and accurate quantity counts
  • Communicate with teammates and promptly escalate equipment issues
  • Assist at other production stations as priorities shift
  • Uphold high efficiency, workmanship quality, and a positive, helpful attitude
  • Learn new tasks, adapt workflows to production levels, and correct errors as needed
What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years in a commercial/industrial print production environment with positive references
  • 1+ year of bindery machine operation; saddle stitching experience preferred
  • Proven accuracy in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs consistently
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and to bend, turn, twist, and lift regularly
  • Comfort using digital/technical systems to track production, inventory, and workflows
  • Team-oriented mindset; able to work well with colleagues of varied experience levels and backgrounds
