Job description

Overview of Responsibilities:
Leadership Support and Training Responsibilities:
  • Back up for DPC Material Handlers and Shipping and Receiving ll.
  • Assist DPC Material Handlers, DPC 2nd Operations and Shipping and Receiving as needed
  • Assist own and other departments with problem transactions
  • Provide direction to DPC Material Handlers as needed
  • Train less experienced individuals or mentor associates as needed

Inventory Management Responsibilities:
  • Consistently ensure accurate inventory levels in the stockroom
  • Coordinate all incoming and outgoing material from the stockroom in a timely manner and directly resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with ECO's by electronically moving and physically re-labeling per ECO requirements
  • Perform cycle counts of products in the stockroom locations, including all adjustments needed to reconcile inventory
  • Communicate any and all discrepancies to the affected department
  • Create and manage inventory locations physically and systematically within the ERP system
  • Research and expense product to NRE's

Material Movement and Staging Responsibilities:
  • Kit production and non-production orders physically and systematically.

Print Shop Responsibilities:
  • Print quality customer labels using the print shop
  • Clean and Maintain printers as needed
  • Work with Engineering/MIS to troubleshoot any issues that arise while printing
  • Verify visual quality of labels and compare to ART files
  • Change ink cartridges and have more ordered as needed
  • Grade bar codes
  • Create quality files for bar code grades

General Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility to protect Donatelle confidential information and Intellectual Property
  • Follow safety requirements as outlined in the safety manual
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned
  • Performs storage duties including: organization of storage areas, methods of handling, and shelving or bin storage
  • Submit requisitions for needed supplies for the stockroom
  • Generate or edit work instructions and submit change orders

Preferred Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
  • Experience organizing stock room infrastructures and systems
  • Minimum of 6 months working in an inventory environment, stockroom, and / or receiving area or equivalent related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Other Qualifications and Desired Skills:
  • Forklift License or ability to obtain such a license

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Continuous walking, bending and reaching
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Climbing stairs
  • Lifting above shoulder level
  • 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses

Pay: $19.00-$26.00/hr
