Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F
Pay: $ 27.17/hr

Must be willing to travel outside home base state/multiple states.

This role does require some driving using a client vehicle. Valid driver's license, clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past three years). 

Essential Functions:

The Print/Mail/Scan Production Associate role is a key service delivery operations position supporting managed services accounts. This role is responsible for safely operating printing and finishing equipment to meet customer requirements and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities include understanding print workflows, coordinating print production activities, and ensuring jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established service standards.

  • Operate and maintain printing, copying, and finishing equipment to complete customer print requests.
  • Receive, review, and electronically log customer print jobs.
  • Perform document assembly and finishing tasks, including cutting, inserting, laminating, hole punching, wrapping, packing, labeling, and shipping finished products.
  • Operate standard finishing equipment such as paper cutters, inserters, laminators, and hole punchers.
  • Operate basic office and production equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and escalate service issues when necessary.
  • Complete basic quality inspections before, during, and after production runs.
  • Perform operator maintenance and routine cleaning of production equipment.
  • Apply asset tags to office equipment and update tracking databases.
  • Track and coordinate office equipment moves, additions, and changes.
  • Maintain supply inventory and distribute supplies as needed.
  • Process incoming and outgoing faxes and maintain billing logs.
  • Log incoming packages and accountable mail.
  • Perform data entry and update forms using a PC.
  • Collect and submit equipment meter reads.
  • Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobs.
  • Maintain reporting logs and documentation for billing and operational purposes.
  • Sort and scan hardcopy materials for printed documents or digital conversion.
  • Perform file/document conversion using standard software applications.
  • Track and store production jobs for future reuse, including file backups.
  • Perform mail delivery and courier duties as requested.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle production equipment and materials.

Skills:

  • Basic computer skills, including keyboard and mouse functions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for reporting purposes.
  • Ability to send and receive emails, locate, open, save, and manage documents and files.
  • Basic internet and web browsing skills.
  • Ability to send documents to configured printers and utilize standard office technology.
  • Basic math skills, including multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to assess issues, identify causes, and prioritize solutions.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
  • Experience operating office equipment, printers, copiers, or production equipment preferred.
  • Experience supporting print production, document management, or managed services environments preferred.
  • Experience with basic technology tools and business applications preferred.

Education:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Post-high school technology training or equivalent experience preferred.
