Job description

ImageNet is looking to expand our service department with some Xerox Printer Production Field Technicians.  Experience required!  Looking for someone who is reliable and self motivated, mechanically inclined and looking for a long term career. 

Responsibilities

  1. Repair and perform preventative maintenance on black & white and color digital copiers, faxes, printers and scanners. Troubleshoot network printing and network scanning capabilities of digital multifunctional equipment.
  2. Provide outstanding service to our internal and external clients. Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose each service call
  3. Ensure that all mechanical repairs are carried out in accordance with the manufactures specifications
  4. Responsible for maintaining an accurate car inventory
  5. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on copiers and network
  6. Set up new installs to network including printing and scanning
  7. Effectively and efficiently respond to service calls on a daily basis
  8. Maintain high level Customer satisfaction by clarifying Customer needs and ensuring that they are met.
  9. Handle Customer-relation problems promptly and appropriately, escalate issues according to established procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • May be required to take and pass a Core Basic Copier Technology Exam.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. 
  • Must be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.
  • Must work well with customers and exhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • This position requires a working knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
