Job description

Weezie sells design-forward, customizable luxury home goods and gifts, with a focus on bath products. Named one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies in 2024 and coming off another year of strong double-digit growth, we're looking for a Senior Designer to help shape the future aesthetic direction of the product assortment.

Reporting to the Director of Merchandising & Product Development and partnering closely with the Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer, this role will lead trend forecasting, concept development, color and pattern direction, and product design across soft goods, hard goods, and emerging physical product categories. You'll collaborate closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, and Creative teams to translate cultural insights and customer trends into commercially compelling products and seasonal stories that strengthen the Weezie brand. The role will also contribute to seasonal collection development, category innovation, and the evolution of the product assortment, helping shape the future aesthetic direction of the Weezie brand as it continues to grow

What You'll Do
  • Research and translate emerging trends across fashion, interiors, hospitality, travel, art, and culture into seasonal concepts and product direction
  • Develop and present seasonal direction across color, print, pattern, materials, styling, and product concepts
  • Design products from concept through execution, including sketches, technical details, and development packages
  • Develop prints, patterns, graphics, and surface designs aligned with the Weezie aesthetic
  • Contribute ideas and inspiration that help shape seasonal collections, new product concepts, and future category opportunities while strengthening and evolving the Weezie brand aesthetic
Who You Are
  • 5โ€“10+ years of experience in product, textile, home, lifestyle, or consumer goods design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating product design, color direction, print and pattern development, commercial execution, and refined aesthetic judgment
  • Exceptional design skills across sketching, color, materials, print and pattern development, and production-ready product execution
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and evolve a brand aesthetic, creating products that feel distinctly on-brand while introducing fresh ideas that strengthen the brand over time
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong understanding of customer preferences, market trends, and commercial viability
  • Experience translating concepts into development packages, technical specifications, and manufacturable designs
  • Strong presentation, communication, and visual storytelling skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly articulate design concepts
