About the Team

Fanatics TCG is a new Seattle-based trading card game studio within the Fanatics Collectibles family, founded by industry veterans with a long-term mandate: to build enduring franchises that live across tabletop, digital, community, and culture. We're looking for the most skilled and passionate talent in the games industry and beyond to help us create the best TCGs in the world.

Who We're Looking For

A leader who brings both strategic vision and hands-on operational depth, the Director of Print Operations will be responsible for creating Fanatics TCG's manufacturing pipeline, leveraging existing capabilities at Fanatics Collectibles and standing up new functions specific to the TCG business. 

Responsibilities

  • Create and own Fanatics TCG's manufacturing strategy, identifying, evaluating, and onboarding the vendors who will make our cards.
  • Oversee manufacturing scheduling and capacity planning for multiple games.
  • Establish strategic partnerships and SLAs with downstream vendors, balancing quality, cost, and time.
  • Build a resilient, diversified vendor base that protects the studio against supply chain disruption and supports growth across multiple simultaneous franchises.
  • Define and own the operational workflow from print-ready files through finished goods delivery.
  • Partner with business and commercial teams on inventory planning, print run sizing, and cost modeling to support business timelines and goals.
  • Define and uphold quality standards for print production, and build QA processes spanning physical proofing, samples, and post-production milestones.
  • Build and lead a Print Operations team to support all franchises as the studio scales.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in print production, manufacturing, or supply chain operations for trading card games
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a player-coach capacity, with demonstrated ability to build functions from early stages
  • Demonstrated success in building manufacturing pipelines at scale, including vetting and implementing tools, processes, and vendors 
  • Proven track record of establishing and managing global manufacturing partnerships
  • Hands-on expertise in prepress, printing processes, and demand planning across multiple vendors and franchises
