Job Summary:
The Production Print Operator Representative will be required to cover the print production department performing tasks such as, operating production print equipment and maintaining reporting logs. Additionally, may be required to cover extended periods at accounts due to special projects or unforeseen circumstances / absences.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operate production color equipment.
  • Utilize standard finishing equipment (e.g. paper cutters, inserters, laminating, and hole punchers).
  • Perform quality inspection before, during and after output of each production run.
  • Problem solves issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and fulfil intermediate contracted customer requirements.
  • Point of contact to receive, review and electronically log customer jobs.
  • Maintain reporting logs and information for billing.
  • Clean and maintain production equipment when necessary.
  • Perform operator maintenance on equipment.
  • Must be able to work individually and as a team.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Customer Service role.
  • Basic technical troubleshooting skills and adaptability to learn print production equipment.
  • Functional knowledge of a PC, including Microsoft Office and web browsing, sending and receiving emails, managing files, and performing data entry.
  • Ability to learn multiple tasks at account and continue daily operations when other operators are out of the office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, and reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
