In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that support Honeywell's aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
On our team, you will have the opportunity to work on next-generation and new product development projects, directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Airborne Traffic, Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space. You will have ownership for systems engineering development at every aspect of the systems life cycle.
  • Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship on critical technology projects.
  • Drive customer engagement while delivering programs on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience working in various application areas supporting Avionics functions, Navigation and Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT).
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Assembly
  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.
  • Ability to manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively.

The annual base salary range for this position is $190,000-213,500 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
